TN Citizens for State Sovereignty - Tennessee Putting Teeth in the Tenth
Nullification is not only a state's right it is a state's duty and responsibility
This substack is an update to the original “Introduction to TNCSS.” We have acquired a lot of new members since we first introduced TNCSS and I felt it necessary to provide an updated introduction. We will post our normal weekly substack tomorrow and as soon as our bills get assigned to committee we will publish twice weekly.
Karen Bracken (Founder) and David Vance (Co-Founder) both citizens of the state of Tennessee have organized a citizens group to support legislation that creates 5 pathways in which to invoke Nullification. Once “Restoring State Sovereignty Through Nullification Act” (HB0726/SB1092) is passed by the Tennessee Assembly it will provide a legally binding process in which to invoke Nullification. As of right now there are no actions to take EXCEPT to get as many people as possible to sign up on this Substack page.
When the legislative session begins on January 9, 2024 we will publish our Substack twice per week (instead of the current weekly publication) to keep you updated on the status of the “Restoring State Sovereignty Through Nullification Act” legislation (HB0726/SB1092) and actions we need our subscribers to take in order to help support our efforts to get this legislation passed. We have also created a website. Be sure to visit each tab to see what we have posted on the website and visit often because we add and update the site often. The website is: tncss.weebly.com
Substack will be how we communicate to those interested in supporting us and/or following the status of the legislation. The website will be where we will provide educational information and resources.
We truly believe Nullification, if enforced, will stop many of the constitutional violations imposed on the American people from our federal government (including the Supreme Court). It was the intent of our founders to extremely limit the power of the federal government but over time they have exceeded their authority and we have allowed them to do so. We also believe that Nullification is our last peaceful solution. Our founders clearly stated that Nullification is the rightful remedy when our federal government steps outside their lane.
Representative Bud Hulsey and Senator Janice Bowling submitted HB0726/SB1092 legislation during the 2023 legislative session but SB1092 failed to get a 2nd from the Senate State and Local Government Committee on March 21, 2023. So the bill died on the vine for that session. But Representative Hulsey WILL be submitting the bill again during the 2024 legislative session. This legislation establishes 5 different pathways in which to invoke Nullification. The legislation is posted here and on our website and any citizen from any state is welcome to take the legislation and lobby your state legislature to pass the same legislation into law in your state. The threat to our freedom and liberty is knocking on the front door and Nullification is the only legal, peaceful tool that we have left.
PLEASE share this information with everyone you know. It is our hope to get other states to adopt HB0726/SB1092 as well and we are currently talking with several other states. We are also partnering with other like minded organizations in the state of Tennessee. There is strength in numbers and that is why we need to grow the number of supporters and partner groups.
Currently we have 5 constitutional experts from the state of Tennessee, 1 constitutional expert from the Tenth Amendment center, 24 County Leaders, 12 TN Representatives/Senators that have signed on to TNCSS in support of Nullification and HB0726/SB1092. TNCSS also is supporting current legislation to make gold/silver legal tender (HB1481/SB0311) in Tennessee and to create a precious metals depository (HB1480/SB0150). These are our 3 main projects and there will undoubtedly be changes made to the legal tender and the depository bills.

It is time the people and our elected understood our founders intent was for the federal government to have extremely limited powers and that the states are the final arbiter of the Constitution not the federal government and not the courts. We have allowed our federal government for far too long to journey into territory in which they have no authority. This will not be easy. We did not lose our state authority overnight and we will not get it back overnight. Future generations depend on us to leave for them the same freedoms and liberties we were fortunate enough to experience. If we do nothing all future generations in this country will be slaves to the self labeled “elite.” I believe we will see more states jump onboard. It only takes one little spark to start a brush fire.

I am quite happy to see the efforts being done here. It is so important to assert Sovereignty over systems that Parasitize those who were supposed to have had Representation.
One of the biggest issues I have been trying to tackle is helping people realize that they are Individually Sovereign, there are some people who may disagree, but ultimately Representation is a maxim of a Voluntarily Cooperative and Decentralized method living and interacting.
An important quote that I think everyone should consider:

Each Individual is born Sovereign, then a toe tag called "Citizenship" is attached to reduce the true power of that Sovereignty, because that which becomes "Defined" falls under the Jurisdiction of those who create the definition.
The quality of State and Local Governance would be greatly improved if there could be a re introduction of the personal status known as "Sui Juris," in addition to re asserting state level Sovereignty.
