TN Informer - Rep. Warner/TNCSS Legislative Upate/Mises Institute is on our side of the Constitution/Supremacy Clause/Petition
Friday March 29, 2024
TN Informer did 2 shows this week. On Wednesday David Vance welcomed Rep. Warner - This was a really good interview. Rep. Warner is one of the few members of the TN Assembly that is truly a statesmen and is not going to go along to get along and of course they target those that step off the plantation. The power politic in TN is pushing vouchers which will do NOTHING to improve education just like Common Core had nothing to do with improving academic performance neither were Charters (public school teaching the same garbage as the traditional public school) and now vouchers. All meant to move us closer to one size fits all education for all of our students. Common Core was not just implemented in the US. It is a global system. And lets not forget……TN parents already have 100% school choice but now it is going to be expected for the tax payer to pay for public and private education instead of doing the hard work to fix the problem and money is not the answer. Bottom line our legislators will not do anything that upsets the federal Gods. Remember, the foundation of Common Core was to put ALL students into the same system and that is what vouchers will eventually do…..that is the real agenda behind them. 1 hr. TN INFORMER
HB2804 - Public Funds and Financing - As introduced, authorizes the treasurer to, subject to appropriations, use funds from the reserve for revenue fluctuation account to purchase precious metals bullion and specie and place the bullion and specie in a restricted account; authorizes the treasurer to store the physical bullion or specie with an entity designated by the treasurer, with the approval of the comptroller of the treasury; declares that specie may be used as legal tender in this state; requires governmental entities to accept specie as payment for any debt, tax, fee, or obligation owed. Was scheduled to be heard on 3/27/24. Rep. Hulsey rolled the bill 1 week. The bill is scheduled for 4/2/24
SB2058 - State Government - As introduced, enacts the "Tennessee State Sovereignty Act of 2024." This is the trojan horse nullification bill. It was scheduled to be heard by the Senate State and Local Government Committee on 3/27/24. Senator Lowe clearly stated in his presentation of this bill that it is not at all the same as the Nullification bill………gee, what a surprise. Basically it is a bill that would create a review committee on federal law. He also said his bill was misrepresented by organizations that wanted their bill passed. The bill was returned to General Sub. That means the bill is dead. But I have no doubt he will bring it back again next year.
No other bills that we are following were scheduled this week.
My article on the Supremacy Clause was published in the TN Conservative News. Please share this article. People need a wake up call. ARTICLE

PETITION (the petition information will be on every TNCSS Substack for the next 10 months. All 3 of the petitions options are also available on our website under the CALL TO ACTION tab I am trying a new way of sharing PDF files so please let me know if you have any issues. Some computers will open the file right to your screen and then you can save, print etc. Some computers will automatically save to your download folder. It all depends on how your computer is set up. Again, all 3 petition options are available on our website as well. These petitions are for legal residents of Tennessee only.
I created a petition and over the next year it is our hope that we get a ton of signatures to send to the TN Assembly in support for legislation that creates 5 pathways in which to invoke Nullification. You can download, save and print this petition. Once you get all of the signatures either create a PDF and send it to me via email or mail it to me at: 309 Brookwood Drive, Bristol, TN 37620
PAPER PETITION: If you go to a meeting, visit friends, attend an event ask folks to sign. Have the petition with you at all times and chip away at getting a complete petition filled up. If you do and want to do more just get your completed copy to me and print off a new petition. We have a year in which to do this and I hope we can get enough signatures to wake up our TN Assembly. PLEASE feel free to contact me if you have any questions. If over the course of the year you were not able to get all of the signatures be sure to send me whatever you have gotten. NOTE: If people do not want to give their full address County, State is fine. THANKS. We have to hit this from every angle.
ON-LINE PETITION: I also created an online petition on change.org. HERE is the link. This is good to send to your email lists. If you click through the screens there will be an opportunity to enter a comment. If you share this link please make sure people know not to donate any money. The money goes to change.org not to TNCSS. This is an easy way for folks to sign the petition but the paper petition works for when you are at events or are just talking to people face to face.
FLYER W/QR CODE: Below is a FLYER with a QR code for those that love QR codes. This can be printed and people can just simply scan the QR code using their cell phone camera and sign the petition that way. One copy can be used over and over. So we have multiple ways of rallying support.
THANK YOU, Karen Bracken
Thank you once again Karen. I once followed the Mises Institute, but discussions were often over my head. Particularly in regard to economic topics. Ah well. Their site is well worth perusing. Here's where most people get off the bus, as they'd prefer to think these stratagems failed to implement. >>>

"Bottom line our legislators will not do anything that upsets the federal Gods."
Correct. Or their corporate welfare benefactors. I often leave the comment online that Tennesseans are not in control of Tennessee government - whenever the TNGOP is "unexplicably" abandoning constitutional reason, which happens way too often.
