HB2804/SB2737 (Hulsey/Niceley) - Public Funds and Financing - As introduced, authorizes the treasurer to, subject to appropriations, use funds from the reserve for revenue fluctuation account to purchase precious metals bullion and specie and place the bullion and specie in a restricted account; authorizes the treasurer to store the physical bullion or specie with an entity designated by the treasurer, with the approval of the comptroller of the treasury; declares that specie may be used as legal tender in this state; requires governmental entities to accept specie as payment for any debt, tax, fee, or obligation owed. - Amends TCA Title 9.
HB2803/SB2735 (Hulsey/Niceley) - Treasurer, State - As introduced, allows the state treasurer to enter into an agreement with an entity to carry out certain activities in order to serve as a facility to securely produce, store, process, and ship bullion products for the state's depository. - Amends TCA Title 9, Chapter 4.
HB2803 was placed behind the budget because of the fiscal note. This means nothing will happen with this bill until the budget has been passed they will decide during this process which fiscal notes will be included in the new budget.
HB2804 this bill does have a fiscal note was placed on a special calendar to be scheduled at the end of the session.
HB2117/SB2743 (Powers/Niceley - last year Rep. Powers and Senator Niceley passed legislation againt UN Agenda 21/2030 Agenda Sustainable Development and Net Zero (Pub. Ch. 479) but there was no enforcement agency to enforce the law (which is a problem with most TN laws - I believe we should pass legislation that every bill passed MUST have an enforcement agency when the passed legislation is violated). While this amendment to Pub. Ch. 479 isn’t the best but it is the best we could do at this point. I would like to know who ensures these cities/counties are not lying on the information supplied during an audit. I know for a FACT we have several cities/counties that are in violation of Pub. Ch. 479. Believe me I will be looking at their audits should HB2117/SB2743 get passed. Below is a PDF of Pub. Ch. 479. SB2743 was passed by the full Senate on 4/4/24 - HB2117 on 4/10/24 this bill was reset to the next available calendar.
HB1890/SB2099 (Lamberth/Johnson) - this is the land grab agriculture easement bill being pushed by Governor Lee and his two lap dogs (Lamberth/Johnson) (the Biden administration has dolled out a ton of money for the easement land grab scheme) If you did not see the interview at TN Informer with David Vance and Senator Niceley they discuss the bills Senator Niceley (gold/silver etc) is sponsoring but they also talk about easements (go to 27 minute mark for the easment discussion). The entire interview is worth watching. Believe me easments have nothing to do with preserving farm/private land. That is the lie they push and at the end of the day these easements have many ways of stealing the land. The NACs (Natural Asset Companies) will end up in control of all federally owned land (which the federal government constitutionally is not allowed to own in the first place) and then they will come after land with an easement. This is why there is a huge push for easements by the Biden administration right now. SB2099 went to General Sub which means it is dead for this year BUT I have no doubt it will come back again next year.
HB2806/SB2640 (Hulsey/Lundberg) - this bill garnered very little attention until the big bankers heard about it and then swooped in with a ton of lies to shoot this bill down. This bill ended up going to Summer Session because of the conflicting explanations. Truth be told the bankers out right misrepresented this UCC decision from 1994 and there will end up being a debate with Mr. Webb (The Great Taking) and the bankers in the summer. Make no mistake the bankers are protecting their interests at the expense of the little guy. Here is the testimony by Mr. Webb explaining the change made in 1994 by the UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) - It is very important that Tennesseans understand the possible threat to their pensions, property rights and investments should this 1994 change is repealed by Tennessee - 1 hr. PETITION (the petition information will be on every TNCSS Substack for the next 10 months.). Both of the petition options are also available on our website under the CALL TO ACTION tab Some computers will open the file right to your screen and then you can save, print etc. Some computers will automatically save to your download folder. It all depends on how your computer is set up. Again, both petition options are available on our website as well. These petitions are for legal residents of Tennessee only.
This is part of our efforts to pull out all the stops to let our legislators know this issue is important to Tennesseans. I created a petition and over the 10 months it is our hope that we get a ton of signatures to send to the TN Assembly in support for legislation that creates 5 pathways in which to invoke Nullification in 2025. You can download, save and print this petition. Forward signed petition to me as a pdf file or mail them to me at: 309 Brookwood Drive, Bristol, TN 37620
REVISED PAPER PETITION: I revised the original petition. I think this one is more user friendly. If you have already gotten signatures using the old form just send them to me and I will add to my petition folder.
Print out copies and keep some in your car and/or purse. If you go to a meeting, visit friends, attend an event or just in talking to the cashier at the grocery store ask folks to sign. Have the petition with you at all times and chip away at as many signatures over the next 10 months as possible. You can forward copies to me at anytime. PLEASE feel free to contact me if you have any questions. 215-692-2147 or email: karen.bracken@reagan.com
ON-LINE PETITION: I also created an online petition on change.org. HERE is the link. This is good to send to your email lists. If you click through the screens there will be an opportunity to enter a comment. If you share this link please make sure people know not to donate any money. The money goes to change.org not to TNCSS. This is an easy way for folks to sign the petition but the paper petition works for when you are at events or are just talking to people face to face.
THANK YOU, Karen Bracken
